Shipping
The cost of delivery is indicated during the order. We have different prices for shipments in Italy, Uk, USA, and other countries.
Our products are made using the "Just in Time" technique, and shipped directly from the artisan's warehouse.
Our shipments are made with couriers specialized in furniture transport, which guarantee a professional service, and express couriers where possible.
The shipping cost includes delivery to the street level:
- Up to 25 Kg, there are no other problems
- Over 25 Kg, by law the courier can refuse to unload, and it is necessary to help him to get the goods out of the truck. If it is not possible to help the courier, it is necessary to request the extra porterage service with the delivery of 2 or more people.
You can request the extra service of delivery to the floor and assembly, we guarantee the best price, after checking if the service is available in your area.
The couriers will contact you to inform you of an approximate day and time of delivery, which may be subject to delays or variations due to force major. Usually deliveries take place between 9.00 and 17.00, usually an exact time is never specified, but it is customary to give an approximate time to avoid subsequent problems.
If, as no one can be found, the transporter is unable to deliver the package, the latter will return to the warehouse of the transporter in the city of destination.
The courier will try to contact the customer the next day to arrange a new delivery, therefore it is very important to have a valid telephone number to be contacted. Although carriers should leave a notice of passage, it may happen that they do not. If you have any doubts about the status of the shipment, please contact us at info@profilidautore.com.
In the event that the customer is not available several times without giving notice, we will be forced, despite ourselves, to charge the costs for the return to our warehouses.
We do not deliver on Saturdays or public holidays, for this reason formalized orders on Friday will be processed on Monday.
For places with particular delivery difficulties (mountain resorts, small islands, limitated traffic, etc.), extra costs may be charged on the invoice, determined from time to time: we guarantee full transparency in communication whenever this happens.

Packaging
The shipping cost includes the cost of packaging.
We use a safe protection system with the best packaging materials and techniques.
Packaging in wooden crates is exclusively on request: the cost varies according to the size of the goods.

Advice on receiving the goods
All our shipments are insured, so that the customer has the guarantee of replacement of goods that present transport damage.
It is the Customer's responsibility to check the condition of the products and packaging at the time of delivery of the order. In case the package is visibly broken or wet, do not accept it.
At the moment of receipt, the Customer should accept by signing with "Reservation of control", as well as the specification of the damage to the products and/or packaging that appears visible at the moment of receipt (by way of example: open package, damaged package, wet package, evident dent).
It is essential to do otherwise, in case of damage due to transport, the courier will not be able to activate the insurance and our organization will be relieved from any responsibility. It is required to check the integrity of the glass/marble tops at the time of delivery, as no subsequent claims can be accepted.
Subsequently, in order to start the refund procedure, the Customer must send us an email within 24/48 hours after receiving the package, specifying:
- how the goods arrived and the conditions of the package
- at the same time also sending photos of the product where you can clearly see both the type of damage and the external conditions of the packaging. This is essential because without the photos it is not possible to start the refund procedure.
We strongly advise you to contact us in case of obvious damage, our staff will respond as soon as possible to help you with the return procedure.

Terms of delivery
Delivery times are indicated on the same purchase page of each product. If the customer needs a faster delivery time, please contact us.
The delivery date may be subject to variations not depending on our will. In case of purchases made during the period of closure of our craftsmen, we will inform you promptly.


EUROPEAN UNION

In some countries it is not possible to export some products due to particularly stringent patents.
Our company assumes no responsibility and accepts no recourse against you for alleged violations of copyright law.
