Important

The colour shades of fabrics, leathers, wood and lacquers may vary depending on the colour bath, therefore the company does not accept responsibility for any differences in colour and in the accompaniment of additional elements.

Furthermore, the company cannot guarantee the perfect colour match between the sample book and the products supplied.

Some peculiarities of natural products, such as :
- veining and difference in shine of the marble
- imperfections, scars, more or less evident grain of the skin
- more or less accentuated wood grain
are to be considered a characteristic of genuineness and value of natural products.

Warranty

We want to fully meet all our customers' expectations, which is why we provide a 1 (one) year warranty on manufacturing defects.

The guarantees specified herein are explanatory/additional to the rights that Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 and subsequent amendments and additions provide for consumer protection (Consumer Code).

Each guarantee is valid, starting from the date of purchase, for 1 (one) year, upon presentation of the invoice/purchase receipt of the product, and only towards the original purchaser of the product.

Our organisation will examine the product sent back by the Customer and assess whether the problem is covered by the warranty.

If we assess that the warranty applies, we will repair the product if it is defective or replace it with an equal or comparable product, in compliance with the regulations in force. It will be our responsibility to bear the costs of repair, spare parts, labour and anything else, provided that the repair does not have to take place at a distance such as to require exceptional expenses. Any part replaced becomes the property of Da Vinci. In the event that the product is no longer for sale, we will replace it with an equivalent product which we will evaluate at our discretion.

If we determine that the product has not been properly stored or assembled, misused, tampered with, repaired by a third party, altered or cleaned with unsuitable procedures/products, the warranty will not apply.

Warranties, unless otherwise specified, will only apply if the products have been used for domestic use, and will not apply if the products have been placed in outdoor or humid environments. The warranty does not cover cases such as: normal wear and tear, cuts or scratches, damage caused by impacts or accidents, indirect damage.

The customer may report any defects in the products in accordance with the provisions of the Italian Civil Code, by sending notice to Da Vinci within 8 (eight) days from the discovery of the defect, under penalty of forfeiture, and in any case within the prescription period of 1 (one) year from delivery. Please contact us by e-mail at export@davincidesign.uk indicating the order and the products you wish to return. We will reply as soon as possible and arrange a refund as quickly as possible.

It is essential that you notify us before returning any product so that there are no problems during processing and our team can check the receipt of the material.


Right of withdrawal ex. European Directive 2011/83/EU.

Directive 2011/83/EU provides the consumer with the right to withdraw from contracts, guaranteeing him the right to return the product purchased and to obtain reimbursement of the cost incurred.

The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised if the product is not intact, that is:

• in the absence of the original packaging
• in the absence of integral elements of the product (accessories, instruction manuals, etc.)
• in case of damage
• in the case of products that are not unused, free of handling, in perfect condition, clean and without traces of assembly.

The right of withdrawal is reserved exclusively to consumers (natural persons who purchase goods not for purposes related to their professional, commercial or entrepreneurial activity), therefore it cannot be exercised by legal persons and natural persons acting for purposes related to their professional activity.

The return must take place within a maximum of 14 calendar days from receipt of the product. At the end of the 14 calendar days period, we will not accept any refund for the renunciation of product purchases. Within this term, the purchaser may exercise this right by sending written notice to the registered office of the supplier - at the addresses indicated in the contact section - by registered letter with return receipt or by e-mail to export@davincidesign.uk

The product must be in the same packaging conditions in which it was delivered and in its original packaging, in perfect condition, without any indication of assembly or use, which means that the product seal must not have been tampered with under any circumstances, including manuals, accessories and warranty documents. Furthermore, the items must be shipped in a protected manner and correctly packaged to avoid deterioration during return transport. Otherwise, damage may be charged and the remaining differential may be paid.

The return to the supplier of the goods in perfect condition is an essential and necessary condition for the exercise of the right of withdrawal by the purchaser. The costs of shipping the goods to the supplier shall be borne entirely by the withdrawing purchaser.

Da Vinci, having verified compliance with the methods and terms for the exercise of the right of withdrawal and the integrity of the returned goods, will refund the sums already paid by the purchaser, including those paid as a deposit. The transport costs of the initial shipment will not be reimbursed in any case. The shipping costs of the return shall be borne by the customer.

Once we have received the item and verified that it is correct, we will refund the amount with the same system used to pay, subtracting the outward transport amounts and paying only the residual differential.

The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised by the purchaser in the case of goods made to measure or clearly customised in a different way from the size and/or colour variants expressly indicated in the catalogue of products marketed by the supplier.​
